Nominated for the national Ikar Award 2022 in the Set and Costume Design category.
Invisible Cities is a performance conceived as a particular experience for its audience. For a few evenings the University Botanical Garden in Sofia becomes the palace of Kublai Khan. Inside it the spectator is free to explore and to travel through this magical world in a series of encounters with its inhabitants, immersed in the visual and sound environment of the piece.
Each spectator is given a receiver and headphones — the music and the actors’ dialogue are transmitted live over radio frequencies and accompany the spectator along a personal route through every corner of the garden.

The project included the discussion “Invisible Cities” and theatre in alternative space — forms, genres, problems (30 October 2021), organised by the Cultural Centre of Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, Konklav Association and Sapromat Association, moderated by Alexander Popov and Mariy Rosen.
The performance took place in the University Botanical Garden, Sofia (2021) with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Sofia Municipality — Culture programme, the Italian Cultural Institute, the Cultural Centre of Sofia University and the National Students’ House.
